Out of a million odd space rocks in the solar system, though very rare, a few in the form of asteroids, meteorites etc, finds it's way to earth. If it ever reaches the earth, it would be extremely disastrous.
Dinosaurs, a massive pre historic animal believed to became extinct from the earth after a massive asteroid impact. Lonar Lake in Maharashtra, Dhala Crater in Rajasthan, Ram Garh Crater in Rajasthan are some of the prominent examples of asteroid impacted sites in India. In the very recent time, in 2013, Russia was hit by a disastrous asteroid.

From the curiosity sparked out of the fractured rocks and boulders, and their placements across this hill, an inspiration to name this property as "SPACEROCK" was drawn. A walk through the scattering may force one to wonder, if this place was ever hit by a Space Rock.
1. Once upon a time, people of Wayanad cursed their destiny as Wayanad was one of the most inhospitable lands. They fought wild animals, poverty and diseases. The Britishers realised the potential of the land to grow spices and plantations. And then, the ever hardworking Malayalees, planted tea & coffee gardens, cardamom and pepper gardens and converted this land into a heaven on earth. There exists unending myths and legends about Wayanad.
2. Karinthandan Temple & Chain Tree.
The British stationed at the Malabar Coast and was in constant search of finding a way up through the formidable and treachery mountains to the Mysore. It was KARINTHANDAN, a native tribal from Wayanad who showed the British the way up. However after the discovery of the trail, to take the credit, it is believed that Karinthandan was killed by British. Later on, the spirit of Karinthandan which was on a revenge hunt was chained to the present Chain Tree.
3. Valmiki Ashram & Luv Kush Temple
Valmiki Ashram, located in Pulpally, Wayanad district, Kerala, is believed to be the very place where sage Valmiki gave refuge to Sita Devi after she was exiled by Lord Rama. It is also said to be where Sita gave birth to her twin sons, Lava and Kusha, and where Valmiki composed the epic Ramayana. You can also find Munippara (Sage's Rock) & The Sita Devi Temple nearby. The pond here is said to have been formed from Sita's tears.
4. Brahmagiri Hills
Legend says that Brahma himself laid the foundation stone for this range, imbuing it with a divine aura. The presence of the ancient Thirunelli Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, further strengthens the spiritual connection.
5. Thirunelli Temple
Often referred to as 'The Kashi of the South,' this temple holds a unique place in Hindu tradition as the only place where one can perform all the rituals related to life, from birth to death and beyond. Legend has it that Lord Brahma, the creator himself, consecrated the idol of Lord Vishnu, which he discovered on a gooseberry (nelli) tree. This divine act gave the temple its name, Thirunelli.
6. Papanasini
Papanasini, a name that translates to "destroyer of sins," is a sacred mountain stream nestled in the Brahmagiri hills of Wayanad, the stream's purifying power is attributed to a fascinating legend. It is believed that when Lord Brahma was consecrating the idol of Lord Vishnu at Thirunelli Temple, Garuda, the celestial eagle and vehicle of Vishnu, flew overhead carrying the Amrit Kumbha (pot of nectar). As Garuda circled the temple, a few drops of the life-giving nectar fell into the stream, imbuing it with the power to cleanse sins.

An age old proverb. "Nearer to heaven & yet farther from God" can be aptly applied to this property for it's location.
Though located at the edge of the Kalpetta town, the ambiance & it's tall and sky hugging trees, hills, valleys, mighty rocks and vastness makes one feel being amid the calmness and silence of deep wilderness.
This property offers an ocean of abundance & experiences. It's unique rock structures resembling shark, ship, pyramids & dinosaurs will cause everlasting enthusiasm & excitement, especially among children. A trekking through the hill & valley within the property with aesthetically made natural hangout spots will make one feel ever more energetic.
